Exciting Opportunity to Support a Maritime Program
TCarta Marine is a global leader in space-based hydrospatial surveying and analysis, serving multi-disciplinary clients worldwide. We empower governments to recognize, manage, and address maritime threats. Join us in supporting the Maritime Safety Office’s mission through the production of Digital Nautical Charts (DNC) and Electronic Navigation Charts (ENC).
Required Qualifications:
- US Citizenship
- Minimum High School diploma.
- Proficiency in ESRI ArcGIS and digital cartography.
- 2 years’ experience in cartographic finishing, feature extraction, attribution population, and related tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Generate corrections for electronic and paper nautical charts and publications.
- Create, edit, and manipulate geospatial data in various formats.
- Geo-rectify maps, charts, and sources; analyze imagery and non-imagery data.
- Utilize geographic names information from the GNDB.
Desired Qualifications:
- TS/SCI clearance.
- Some college education in a relevant field of study.
- Active Cartographer GEOINT Professional Certification and GEOINT Professional Certification – Fundamentals.
- Expertise in geospatial production techniques and NGA digital data formats.
- Knowledge of NGA Products and Services supporting production of DNC, ENC, LPC, MOT, and DWC.
Salary Range: $52,000 – $82,000 (Full-Time)
Note: Salaries determined by various factors including candidate qualifications, market conditions, and internal equity.
