Biography

David is an environmental engineer with solid problem-solving skills, great abilities in using GIS, analyzing remote sensing information, and managing extensive datasets. He holds a Master of Environmental Science from Memorial University of Newfoundland and a graduate diploma in Applied Ocean Technology in Ocean Mapping from the Marine Institute of Memorial University. David has research experience published in peer-reviewed academic journals. He joined to TCarta after completing and leading an internship program between the Marine Institute and TCarta. David is originally from Colombia and he is passionate about producing accurate and practical data.

In his free time, David enjoys cycling, running, and hiking.
