Biography

BIO: Chris recently completed a PhD program in remote sensing with a special focus on atmospheric correction and physics-based satellite derived bathymetry (SDB). He was part of the first efforts in Canada to demonstrate the use of physics-based SDB with Landsat 8 data. As an avid user of satellite data, he loves staring at ocean color data and gets excited about analyzing them to produce spatial  information needed to address a wide range of questions. He currently assists with physics-based SDB as a Senior Remote Sensing Scientist at TCarta. In his spare time, he likes playing the piano and thinking about the next opportunity to jump back on the computer.
